Danger Cave

Some of Tooele County’s earliest inhabitants made Danger Cave their home more than 11,000 years ago.  Several archeological digs inside the cave received intensive use when there was plentiful food and water nearby.  It is believed these early inhabitants were descendants from nomadic tribes that crossed the Bering Land Bridge from Asia and journeyed on the American Continent. 

Location: Outside of Wendover beside westbound Interstate 80 Exit 1.
