A planned development is a distinct category of conditional use. As such, it is intended to encourage the efficient use of land and resources, promote greater efficiency in public and utility services, preservation of open space, efficient use of alternative transportation and encouraging innovation in the planning and building of all types of development. Please refer to Chapter 9 of the Tooele County Land Use Ordinance for specifics requirements for a Planned Unit Development.

Prior to submitting a planned unit development application, an applicant shall participate in a pre-application conference. Please refer to Chapter 9 of the Land Use Ordinance for specific requirements for the pre-application conference. Applications

PUD Concept Plan Application

DO NOT SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION UNTIL YOUR Concept stage plan has been approved! In order to be placed on an agenda, a complete application MUST be submitted no later than 21 days before the scheduled planning commission meeting.

PUD Preliminary Plan Application

DO NOT SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION UNTIL YOUR DESIGN PHASE PLAT AND INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN AND ENGINEERING DRAWINGS HAVE BEEN APPROVED! In order to be placed on an agenda, a complete application MUST be submitted no later than 14 days before the scheduled planning commission meeting.

PUD Final Plan Application

Your application MUST be complete at the time you submit it. Unless your application is complete, it will not be placed on an agenda. Department staff cannot guarantee that an application will be placed upon a certain agenda until it is a complete application.
