Duties

Advise the County Council on the best use of revenues collected from the transient room tax and the tourism, recreation, cultural, and convention facilities tax.

Membership

Influential citizens of Tooele County with experience, abilities, and points of view that will contribute to the effective management of the Board. The Board shall have representation from the following tourism-related industries:

Cultural attractions; Hotel and lodging; Restaurants; Recreational facilities; Convention Centers; Museums;
Additional members may include a County Council member liaison or other advisory, non-voting members as needed.

Terms

Four (4) years. Three members are appointed to an initial term of two years. No member shall serve more than two consecutive terms.
