Building Services reviews all plans of structures being built in Tooele County. They perform plan reviews as well as on site inspections. they enforce the building, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical codes.

Tooele County does not release detailed building permit information to the public. However, information on building permits that have been issued can be found on the following Utah.gov site:

Notice Regarding Building Permits and Impact Fees

This department will include all associated impact fees with your building permit fees as assessed for:

  • Lake Point Improvement District
  • North Tooele County Fire District
  • Stansbury Park Recreation District
  • Tooele County Transportation
  • Tooele County Public Safety
  • Tooele County Parks, Recreation and Trails

We do not have authority to waive all or part of these fees.
